Booking & Requirements

What licence do I need to hire a caravan?
A current full unrestricted Australian driver’s licence is required.

What age do I need to be to hire a caravan?
Drivers must be at least 25 years old and under 75 years old.

Can anyone tow the caravan?
Only approved drivers listed on the hire agreement may tow the caravan.

How do I book?
Simply submit an enquiry through our website or give us a call, and we’ll confirm availability and provide a quote.

How much is the bond?
A security bond varies depending on self tow or delivery and is required before collection and is refunded after the caravan is returned in satisfactory condition.

Towing & Vehicle Requirements

Can my vehicle tow your caravans?
Your vehicle must have a suitable towing capacity, tow bar, electric brake controller (can be supplied), and appropriate towing mirrors if necessary (also can be supplied).

Do I need an electric brake controller?
All of our vans have electric brakes and require an electric brake controller. One can be supplied at an additional cost if needed.

Do I need a 12-pin trailer plug?
All of our caravans use a 12-pin flat plug. We can supply adapters if needed.

Pickup & Return

What happens at pickup?
We complete a condition report, verify licences, conduct a full demonstration, and ensure you’re comfortable operating the caravan before departure.

How long does the handover take?
Allow approximately 30 minutes.

Can I collect or return outside business hours?
This may be available by prior arrangement.

Do I need to clean the caravan before returning it?
Yes. The caravan should be returned in a clean condition, with all rubbish removed and the toilet cassette emptied and cleaned.

Insurance & Damage

Is the caravan insured?
Yes, subject to the terms of the hire agreement and insurer requirements.

What happens if I damage the caravan?
Any damage must be reported immediately. Repairs and excess charges may apply in accordance with the hire agreement.

What should I do if I have an accident?
Ensure everyone’s safety first, notify emergency services if required, and contact us as soon as possible.

Can I take the caravan off-road?
Only on roads suitable for the specific caravan hired. Please check with us before travelling on unsealed roads.

Campsites & Travel

Can I take the caravan interstate?
Yes, subject to approval and any booking conditions.

Can I stay at free camps?
Yes, provided the location is legal and suitable for the caravan.

Do your caravans have solar power?
Many of our caravans are equipped with solar systems and battery storage suitable for off-grid camping.

Can I run air conditioning off-grid?
Generally no. Air conditioning requires connection to mains power or a suitable generator where permitted.

What if I have a problem during my trip?
We provide phone & email support throughout your hire period.

Will I receive instructions on how everything works?
Yes. You’ll receive a comprehensive demonstration at pickup and video guides covering setup, towing, awning operation, solar, batteries, water systems, and toilet operation.
